Disciples Football is Central Virginia's Homeschool Football Team

The Disciples Football program was Virginia’s first High School Homeschool 11-man football team. The team represents the homeschool community in central Virginia. The Disciples are a founding member of the Mid Atlantic Christian Conference (MACC) and part of the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (CVHAA).

Don't let this football season go by without supporting your football team!  This is the perfect place for families, teenagers and kids of all ages to enjoy a Night Out!

Going to the Disciples Football games brought back memories of when I attended friday night football as a youth.  I am really excited that my kids are now enjoying it as much I did.  It is one of the things we do as a family where everyone has fun and nobody complains.  We can't wait for this season -- GO DISCIPLES!!!          -Steve (family of 7)

How many times have you heard that home schoolers don't get enough social interaction or don't get to experience a lot of things the public and private schoolers get to experience.  Of course that's not true at all, especially when it comes to football games.  Last year the Disciples went 9-1 brought home the 2013 MACC Championship and the 2013 Homeschool National Runner-up Football Championship.  This years, expectations are high and crowd excitement will be at it's max!

If you remember going to football games and would love for your kids to have that experience or you are a teenager and want to meet and get to know other teenagers, this is the place to be!  Just imagine a clean family-friendly Christian environment with lots of excitement and fun for the entire family.  We give praise and pray before and after each game as one big football family!  It's time for you and your family to join ours!

Coaches Corner

2013 was a season filled with trials, injuries and yet, perseverance.  We lost 10 starters in six weeks but overcame adversities and still had an outstanding football season! The Disciples won the MACC Championship back-to-back and we were just a touchdown away from repeating as the 'NHFA National Champions.' In 2013 we played the toughest Disciple schedule to date. We are looking to top that in 2014. To be the best, you have to play the best. Along with our very competitive conference schedule we are playing two of the top private school teams in Virginia. We are poised to come roaring back in 2014 with a young team. Many returning and new Disciples are preparing their minds and bodies to compete at a higher level for the 2014 season.
